- Purge Plastics: Plastic contains chemicals that mimic estrogen leading to an overall hormone imbalance in the body. Store food and water in glass containers instead.
- Eat a fertility friendly diet: a diet rich in colourful vegetables, high-quality proteins, raw unrefined fats and complex carbohydrates will provide the nourishment you need to conceive.
- Get Restorative Sleep: Melatonin levels have been shown to positively affect egg health. To support healthy melatonin production it is important to put away all electronic devices (computers, cell phone, etc) 30 minutes before bedtime and make sure that the room is as dark as possible when you are sleeping.
- Ease Fertility Stress: Meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises and acupuncture can be effective ways to ease fertility stress. Create a daily practice for yourself doing something you find stress reducing.
